22Bet App – Registration and Bonus
Welcome to our 22Bet review, where we are taking a look at one of the newest bookmakers on the scene. We will be looking at their sign-up offer, betting markets available, and what their depositing an
...d withdrawal methods are. As well as bringing you a whole host of other information. 22Bet is a new kid on the block. Only founded as recently as 2018, this bookie has come a long way in a short space of time though and is already very competitive. As well as being a worldwide bookmaker, 22Bet also look like they are actively pursuing UK customers. So, they will have to be good if they are to survive in such a competitive marketplace.

Licensing and Regulations for 22Bet
Let’s start our 22Bet review by looking at their licencing and regulations. 22Bet are part of the TonyBet OÜ, so despite being a new brand, you can use them with confidence, as they are part of a much larger, well-established company.
TonyBet is licensed and
regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, meaning 22Bet is also UK licensed and regulated.
This means there is no need to be alarmed by the fact that 22Bet is a new company. With it being licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, you get all the same rights and standards you expect from any major household name bookie operating within the United Kingdom.
What’s It Like Registering with 22Bet
As is the case with the majority of bookmakers these days, the registration process is fairly straightforward. To get you started, there is a big green button in the right-hand corner of the screen with ‘Sign Up’ on it (right next to the 22Bet login tab), ensuring you don’t have to look too hard. An obvious – but good – sign!
You have three screens to negotiate. On the first page, you’re required to give your email address, set your username, password, and your chosen currency. The two available currencies are UK Sterling and Euros.
The second page is simply your name and date of birth. Lastly, on page 3 you need to fill in your address, and then give them your mobile number, and set your security question and answer. You then move onto the deposit section.
You will be required to upload ID documents for 22Bet verification. This can be either your passport or driving licence. This is standard with all
UK bookies these days, so you are not being asked to do anything out of the ordinary.
Depositing and Withdrawing Is Easy
Depositing to 22Bet is by standard methods within the UK. The best and most easy way is by Bank Transfer. You can also use your debit card – with both Visa and Mastercard accepted. There is also the other usual alternative options for depositing, such as
Skrill,
NETELLER, and
Paysafecards.
Bank Transfer, Visa, Skrill, NETELLER, paysafecard –
Minimum Deposit £10
All are free to deposit with, and withdrawals are free also (unless you have a bank that charges). Overall, it is a pretty painless process.
22Bet Website Layout and Ease of Use
The website layout is pretty decent and is very easy to use. All the markets available are clearly listed down the left-hand side of the website. If you have ever used TonyBet, it’s the same as their site.
There is also a very helpful toolbar at the top of the page, giving you a direct link to last-minute bets. You can also click on Next 1h bets, Next 2h bets, and Next 4 and 8 hour bets. All helpful little additions available on the 22Bet website.
You betslip opens up in the top right-hand corner on the same page (as opposed to in a separate window). If you are in the habit of placing bets at the last second, you are in luck with 22Bet. Here you can click on your bet prior to logging in, put in your bet amount, and log in as you are placing your bet. A small thing maybe, but a great help if you are a last-minute bettor.
Does 22Bet Have A Decent Sign Up Offer
There is a decent sounding 22Bet sign-up offer, but there is a sting in the tail. You get a
100% deposit bonus, up to a maximum of £50. This sounds great, you just need to deposit £50, and you get given £50 – but it’s not that simple.
There are wagering requirements to receive the £50, and a lot of them. In order to get the full £50 deposit bonus, you will first need to deposit £50, and when doing so you need to enter the 22Bet bonus code. You then have to stake the deposit amount on a bet at odds of 1.65 or greater. This has to be done within 30 days of opening your account.
Once your bonus is activated, you will have to turn it over a massive 10 times at odds of 1.65 or greater. This is a high rollover requirement for a bookmaker. You also only have 30 days to complete the rollover requirements.
If you are a fairly active gambler who places a lot of medium-sized bets, the chances are you will complete this rollover requirement quite easily. If not, you may struggle to gain the maximum value from your welcome bonus.
Promotions for Existing Customers
Unfortunately, 22Bet doesn’t currently have any on-going existing customer promotions for their Sportsbook. There are quite a few for their casino, but nothing for us sports bettors. This is rather disappointing, as existing customer offers are quite a big selling point in the UK marketplace these days.
What Sort of Sports Does 22Bet UK Cover
22Bet are big into football, a must for UK bettors. They cover the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, La Liga, etc. Pretty much all of the main football leagues and tournaments.
They also cover popular betting sports such as
Boxing,
Tennis, Snooker,
Cricket,
Rugby Union,
Formula 1 and Horse Racing. All firm favourites with the UK audience.
Outside of the mainstream sports, they also place a strong emphasis on less popular sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, Ice Hockey, and Biathlon.
What of Their Betting Markets
There is massive selection of betting markets to choose from. For example, on a Premier League football match you have just under 400 markets on an individual match. You have all of the regular markets you would get from a mainstream UK bookmaker, and more. All the usual suspects are there, as you would expect. The likes of next goal betting, correct score, total corners, yellow cards, handicaps, etc.
The markets on a football match are all categorised, such as goals, players, totals, handicaps, halves, etc. What this shows us is that there is a lot of markets available, otherwise there would be no need to separate them into categories.
And it’s as I eluded too earlier in this 22Bet review, if they want to succeed in the UK marketplace, they will need to come
well equipped when it comes to football betting.
How Easy Is It to Make A Bet
The simple answer is, fairly easy. There is a list of sports and major events down the left-hand side of the screen. Simply click on one of them, and it opens up the markets in the centre column. From there select your bet, and it opens it up in a bet slip on the top right-hand side of the page. It is simple.
There is also an in-play section just below where the betslip is positioned, bringing you all the current sporting events, so you don’t have to go hunting around the site for them all.

What About the Live Betting
As I have already eluded too above, there is a dedicated section to live in-play betting on the right-hand side of the home page. This has direct links to all the main in-play events. Not only does it have direct links to the main events taking place (i.e., US Open Tennis), it also has direct quick links to the actual live matches taking place (i.e., Federer V Nadal).
There is also an in-play tab at the top of the home page. When you click on this, you then have to option to click on
different live sports. For example, it might say Football (5) Tennis (3), meaning there are 5 live football matches in-play, and 3 live tennis matches taking place.
A Decent Mobile Experience
The mobile experience is decent enough. They have an app for both Android users, and also have an iOS version, meaning they pretty much have all bases covered. You can also log in to your 22Bet account on your mobile using your general browser.
The 22Bet login is just the same on your mobile, as it is on your desktop. The whole website is just as easy to use on your mobile, and you get all the same options and available markets. They get a thumbs up from us in this department.
Safety and Security with 22Bet
Activity between yourself and 22Bet is encrypted using
256-bit SSL software, the maximum strength protection on your browser. The SSL Certificates are provided by GoDaddy, an established name in the online world.
There is also a comprehensive list of tips and advice for all players on how to help keep safe online, and how to best protect your data and security. All of which helps and is educational.
One small note of caution though, that will hopefully never affect you – if you are unhappy about how 22Bet handles your data, and you can’t come to a resolution with them yourself, you would be required to take your complaint to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
Levels of Customer Care
There is a claim on the website of
24-hour customer care. The first place that you get directed to is a contact form. There is also a phone number that you can ring, and an email address, but unfortunately there is no sign of 22Bet live chat. I find live chat to be a very good option on any website I am dealing with.
There is also a pretty comprehensive FAQ page, to help you with any queries you might have. Therefore, hopefully avoiding the need to contact customer services direct by phone or waiting for a reply to an e-mail.
Company Information and History
22Bet was only formed in 2018, but this review has found them to be just as efficient as most other established bookmakers. The 22Bet brand is operated by TonyBet, with both brands using the same software. According to both bookmaker’s websites, they are both based out of Tallinn, Estonia.

Summing Up 22Bet
Thank you for taking the time to read our 22Bet review. We hope you have found it helpful. In conclusion I have to admit to being pleasantly surprised at how good this bookmaker turned out to be.
Yes, having the clout of being part of the TonyBet group means they are actually an experienced bookmaker, rather than a novice, but at the same time I wasn’t expecting the
variety of betting markets available, and all of the other add-on’s like an impressive app.
From a UK gamblers prospective I believe 22Bet ticks a lot of the same boxes as the mainstream UK and Irish bookmakers. The main differences are the rollover requirements on the welcome bonus and the lack of offers for existing customers. All of the main UK bookmakers now have
offers of money back if your horse falls, or finishes second, etc – but 22Bet has none of these.
The rollover requirements on the welcome bonus also feel a bit extreme, but at the same time I have to say these are the only real major negatives I have found. No bookmaker is perfect, and the same has to be said for 22Bet. But our 22Bet review has found that this bookmaker is just as good as any other UK bookmaker I have come across, and I have no problem in using them.
